Kirby- i don't know if the ranger was really trying to hurt the cat, but jonnymack02, i'm sure the ranger knows the danger, and thank god he's willing to risk getting injured, it sounds like you certainly don't give a damn about these beatuiful animals.

It's not that i don't give a damn about the animals, it's more that in comparison to a human life i don't put them on the same level. and the ranger trying to get the animal back into the wild "deserves" what he got? come on, let's look at the whole thing rather than just the stick poking the cat

Hey Kirby how about next time they release a wild leopard in the wild you stand in front of the cage and go hear kitty kitty and see if you fair any better! I did laugh my ass off when that leopard went to go get some for being poked but also at the same time I'm glad that the rangers are there to help those animals so they are not wiped out!

Notice how the leopard didn't just run for safety but rather turned 270 degrees to actively attack his foe. God GAVE him those skills to protect & feed himself. I wish I had a leopard. Awesome.

As dumb as it was to poke the Leopard, the ranger didn't "get what he deserved". What the hell is wrong with you people? Rangers are out there to protect and preserve animals like this. Without them the leopard and others like them would be extinct by now. They have the courage and guts to be up and close to these wild animals. They actually DO care. Not like most of you so called animal lovers that talk the talk but could never walk the walk. Let's just hope he learned his lesson and changes his procedures.
