  The only "swept" the oscars because it was a political statement. So the people who really deserved these awards got ripped off. The grammys are getting so BORING! Now they are just political hype. FAKE!

  I just like the music video, it's very engulfing. I think they've always been the same people, they just are letting it out with some other way of expression. I like how they are much more formal with this music video than with any of the others I have seen. Regardless of their political beliefs I like how the song is simply honest. People really can feel like something wonderful is happening in the world of music when they feel like they can relate. The dixie chicks made a song that is crying out because they feel hopelessly angry, anyone can feel like that. That is why they must have "swept the grammys".

  One of many reason's hundreds of thousands flock to this country (USA)is to be able to express our point of view without fear of prosecution. Although I may dissagree with da Dixie Chicks point of view, I am thankful that we have the opportunity as citizens to be able to hear and enjoy music such as this, to remind us...that while others wake up each day wondering whether it will be their last..I can be laying here in my warm confortable bed, being reminded of my freedom.

  Let's see: They write their own songs; Play their own instruments; and finally, they perform their own music. Sounds like grammy winners to me. It's what sets country music apart from most of the popular music today, musicians who don't need an engineer to make them sound good.
