Robin Williams plays Rainbow Randolph, the leading personality on KidNet TV. When the network discovers he's taking bribes from fanatical parents, he gets the ax. Even worse, he's replaced by a purple dinosaur named Smoochy (Ed Norton). Even worse, Smoochy becomes so popular so fast, nobody even misses Randolph. Randolph's got some...business to take care of now...
