The show she's talking about is the pilot for his new adventure series: Barwatch. Or is it Bay Rum? Night Train Rider? Oh yeah: America's Got Tanqueray!!!

Geez Louise! How many times does he eat that same piece of lettuce?

Dude, I've been there, we have alllllllllll been there where he is when wasted on alcohol. He's a person, not a deity. A parent is not granted special powers to be better than any other person. They are just people.... It seems to me from LISTENING to what MR Hasselhoff says while he is drunk out of his mind....that he is a mild mannered, humble drunk guy. Why jam him up and put him under a public microscope? Does he get behind the wheeel drunk often? Is that it? Does he endanger others? Parden me but.....my Daughter is 13, and she is able to take care of herself in most situations without my help already....I don't think I have to worry about her INSIDE MY OWN HOME....while I drink or decide to take a nap. God forbid you have to worry about losing visitation rights simply because you lose consciousness while she is present. I personally feel sorry for his Daughter, because I would feel pretty badly if a well meant video caused my parent as much trouble as it is causing David and his family now. I am not a fan of David's, nor a proponent of either side really, but.....Jeeeeeeezzzz, the people in authority sometimes seem to go so far off the reasonable end of consideration on these kinds of things when it comes to public figures.

The guy is just drunk,....in his own home....shirtless but with a very nice pair of slacks on......trying his best to talk to his Daughter {while drunk} in sincererity while attempting to eat a sandwich.....and failing. That's it......he's not shouting or carrying on, He's not trying to show you "MR JOHNSON" while he does the naked twist. He's not telling his Daughter to "SHUT THE FVCK UP!" or being nasty in any way........he's just really drunk and vulnerable. {sigh} That's all I had to say I guess. Live and let live.

It is completely inappropriate to put a video like this on the net. As a daughter, you should have used it to show your father in private to help him realize his problem. Or plan an intervention with friends. Put to put this online is by no means justifiable. Two wrongs do not make a right. You both need a solid and reputible therapist. Perhaps your worst moment will be taped and put out there for the world to see, and will never be erased. Things like this never die (videos). How is this to help your father if he does clean himself up. Because of this he'll never be able to excape his problem because there's always going to be a moron out there to throw this in his face - that may in turn bring him down and make him drink. Yes, he has a problem and to say it's a shame is an understatement. You both need to work through some major issues/pain, but THIS WAS NOT THE WAY TO HANDLE IT.

Shame on both of you. I'm sorry you're dealing with this as a daughter.

Whoa, Chotur, take a swig. Sounds to me like someone's never had to deal with an addict. Sometimes you have to go to extremes. Sure, he's an adult, so as an adult, he should know better and be able to control himself. The daughter shouldn't have to be the parent.

Anyhow, this is a great Wendy's commercial. I can just see the slogan now:

"WENDY'S. FIND A FINGER IN OUR CHILI AND GET DRUNK OFF OUR LETTUCE."

One more thing. There's something being lost in general when things like this happen (people distastfully putting things like this on the worldwide net). There's a lack of humanity here. A lack of compassion and tack. There's enough sensationalim whores out there and dehumanizing media....just garbage that has no business being broadcast. It's damaging. In this case, David's daughter has made this situation inevidably harder on herself and for her father. This is HUGE defemation on character, also David is a SAG actor. There are strict rules in place with broadcasting unauthorized images in any fashion without a release. David's career/image is being majorly damaged and ultimately threatens his commercial viability - how HE MAKES A LIVING. Also, there is not mystery here on how the content was made and "got out."

I wouldn't blame him for suing the hell out of his daughter to make up for this. Instead of her riding by on any of David's income, miss no-common-sense should work her ass off to pay her bills and his to boot!! In the meantime, if David Hasselhoff does indeed have a drinking problem and this wasn't just a one time deal, then YES the man definately needs some long term care/help.

As a daughter though...YOU SCREWED UP AND YOU WILL PAY ON WAY OR ANOTHER. YOU SCREWED YOURSELF GOOD WITH THIS ONE. THIS CONTENT SHOULD BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY!

I'm older than Hasselhoff, got a bigger belly, less money, and I have NEVER been shipface drunk like that, let alone in front of my daughter, who's obviously trying to manipulate her drunk dad into being a decent dad.

Despite their relationship, and her obvious inexperience, it looks as if she's more DH's parent than the other way around. It's sad and tragic on many levels.

I hope his visitation is supended until he gets help. He is doing her no good.

This video shows a very harsh reality for Mr. Hasselhoff. I think his 16 year old daughter did him a favor by making it. Apparently, she is not the one who posted it on the Internet, according to media reports which also state that he has a history of being in treatment for alcoholism over several years. I wish the best to him & his family for his recovery.

This act reeks of a hidden agenda far beyond exposing her Dad for his own good. So, when does it become OK for a daughter to get up on a soapbox and air their PERSONAL matters of the (albeit broken) family to the world? Heaven forbid he should do such a thing to her. I know the Alec Baldwin thing is a bit extreme but look at all of the shit he's taking for what he did. AND I AM NOT CONDONING HIS (OR DAVID'S) BEHAVIOUR. I think his condition is obvious and help is clearly indicated here. But what the hell is becoming of this world where this "kind" of intervention is acceptable. Tell me, because maybe I'm missing something here.

He needs some help there. Whether he is an alcoholic it can be treated with help. By exposing your dad in this way is not doing any help. As a daughter give the maximum moral support. There are some other worst cases out there that drunken dad beat or abuse their kids (that can be extreme)

How worst a person gets NOBODY IS PERFECT!!!!!

Get him up in shape again with help & family support.... and im sure he will change...

These little hollywood twits need to get a real life. On most sides of this planet, a child talking to a parent like that would have been lucky to leave with their ....life or hands or food, but apparently in America Hasselhofs little girl was to worried about losing her precious Visa card.

She must have picked up a few tips from Baldwin's daughter.

Think of your worst moment. Your most shameful behavior. I would hope that if your daughter caught it on tape she would care for you enough to not air it for everyone to see. He clearly has a problem, and as a recovering alcoholic myself I hope he finds help. But if his daughter wanted to help him she'd show it to him the next day. Or use it in an intervention. Want she did was intentionally humiliate him in front of the world. How was that necessary? But Ebonvoice, I shutter to think of someone filming my regrettable moments and airing them for everyone to see. And unless you're christ and have never made mistakes or been weak, I'm sure you don't want your embarassing moments shown to everyone. Sure it's fun to say "I'm better than him even though he's famous and makes less money" and it makes you feel somehow superior. But in reality witnessing another persons alcoholism followed by being publicly humiliated by his own daughter (for no good reason other than spite) just seems sad to me. It's certainly no reason to celebrate your own percieved superiority.

I'm not condoning the behavior, no one on thi thread has, and it's certainly a less than poor example the man is setting for his daughter. But tell me one way posting this on the web could possibly help.

David Hasselhoff is acting like every stupid drunk I have ever seen. Luckily, he is not getting violent in this, like most drunks eventually do. Then they want to destroy and even kill everything they see, property and people, and they hate everyone. Ask everyone who has had a relationship with a real, addicted drunk. It's like they injest a demon, who they allow to use their mouth, their hands and feet for every mean and horrible thing the demon can think of. If Mother Theresa, the nun, was around, she would get abused too. For these reasons, alcohol, and all establishments that promote and give out alcohol, should be banned. It is a serious drug, and destroys the brain cells of the person drinking it, and then the person destroys and kills all around him.

Teenagers, even the most intellectual ones, don't always have an outlet for intervention. Most probably have never heard of the word intervention, and certainly unless they are from a family where an intervention has been done, they are unlikely to know how to begin. If Mr. Hasselhoff has been in treatment prior to the filming of this clip, it obviously did not work. If his daughter has taken place in an intervention, she probably is aware of the failure. We are being harsh on a teenager who probably loves her father very much and would like to help with every resource available to her. IFILM is another resource and I applaud her bravery. A ban on alcohol is not a feasible option. Crime would increase, blackmarkets would thrive and the economy would be crushed with the loss of businesses. I have nothing against alcohol or the people who consume it. My business is mine and yours is yours. When you're a star, you get the fat $$$ but with that comes the reality that your dirty laundry is aired to the public. I don't believe his daughter was wrong, I think she had the best intentions at heart. I don't think he should be punished for doing something legal because someone in society says it's not nice or not fatherly like. I don't hardly think he was being abusive to his daughter. Taking away visitation would be inappropriate. If we started taking away parental rights and visitation because one or both parents were drinking in excess, there would be alot of parentless children out there. Lawyers would be frequenting bars and night clubs with video cameras to drum up business. I believe people will make their own judgements on whether or not to view him on T.V. Taking away his career is not going to be helpful if it jeopardizes the support of his family. Alcohol is not an illegal drug. Alcoholism is however a disease. It is unfortunate what it does to some people. We all watched the video clip on here and it was just another form of entertainment to m

Hmm, did any of you actually WATCH and LISTEN to this video? Or did you just see 10 seconds of it and criticize it in outrage?

Yes, he WAS cursing his daughter, or didn't you hear the blatant "f--- you" in about 2/3 of the way through when Taylor is telling him he has her and her sister.

And obviously this isn't a first-time considering she's telling him that the producers of his show (which must be America's Got Talent that she's referring to) will fire him if they find alcohol in his blood. So if he can't stay sober knowing he's on his last chance and knowing he has visitation with his daughter(s), then maybe a public display of drunkenness will be enough to push this celebrity to sobriety. It's called intervention. Seems the private steps taken haven't worked up to this point.

As for her making her own way and not living off his income, she mentions that she's studying for SATs, which implies she's actually trying to get an education and make a way for herself and not end up some party girl poster child. More than can be said for many of the celebrity and rich offspring the likes of Paris Hilton.

Kudos to Taylor for taking the drastic and toughlove steps necessary to get David's head removed from his ass.

Here's a defense for Hasselhoff and his daughter. Yes, he is a humble drunk, and that's a damned good thing (my dad was a violent drunk), but she's doing the right thing by making his drunkenness public: he's about to lose his job and she's saying it's time for an intervention. As long as his drunkenness stays a secret, he won't stop.

Personally, I don¿t see anything wrong there. A man had a drink in his own home. The messed up part was, the daughter has no respect for her dad. I also grew up w/ an alcoholic father and seen much worse temperament than that. But, humiliating like that would never cross my mind.

I agree to the fact that 'interventions' may help some people...and 'practical jokes' make people laugh! THIS...this is neither of those 2 things. This is just sad, dissappointing and cruel. I've never been a fan of the HOFF...but his daughter needs some severe therapy if she thinks this is going to help her DAD in any way shape or form. If she had taken this video for the sake to show him what he was doing...and shown it to him and ONLY HIM...I might understand...but she shot it, talked thru it, made a fool out of herself and her dad...and then osted it for the entire world to see. Ya' know...here in the states he's kinda lost his 'edge'...but over in Europe and the Orient...the Hoff is HUGE! How will she feel when her enrollment in school is cancelled...no money, or when all her cool clothes are out in the front yard under a sign that reads YARD SALE, or what about when none of her friends wanna hang out with her...because she's right up there with the poor Baldwin kid...noone wants THAT kind of publicity! She'll come to realize that what she's done was worng...but it might be too late. It's sad to see ANYONE in this shape...celebrity or not...and then to have it put online for all to see...AND BY YOUR OWN FAMILY...YOUR OWN CHILD... I think this LITTLE girl needs some deep--deep---severe therapy! Still not a big fan of the Hoff...but I do hope he gets help and turns things around for himself. IT'S NOT SUCH A BAD PLACE...THIS WORLD...AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE LOVE AND RESPECT OF YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY...and it doesn't look like this man does....sad.
