  This loser gives all cops and anyone in law enforcement or military a bad rep. People will think we are colossally incompetent. What department does he work for? I will know never to visit that town. There should have been at least three safety check and the weapon should have been dismantled before laying it on the table. LOSER!

  What an idiot! Why the hell was that gun loaded in the first place, he could have very well shown and explained the dangers of it without it having been loaded. These people are completely inapropriate to be in this position, i bet this guy went back to the office told the story and all the other cops laughed like idiots... what morons. No wonder the crime in this country is how it is, with people like these there might as well not be cops at all, it's not like they make a difference.

  I cannot believe that happened and the guy continued on with his presentation. He should have checked 3 times to ensure the gun was not loaded. I understand that people make mistakes but in a classroom of kids this should never have happened. Some human errors are just unacceptable!!

Ok, this cop may be an idiot, but police like him put their lives on the line everyday. After 911 did we not have more respect for police (as well as fire fighters) and how they are willing to risk their lives? There are cops that are arrogant and racist, but that is true of the whole world; most cops will do a dangerous job and try to help anyone while protecting everyone. When your life is in jeopardy, who will you turn to in a heartbeat? Not the police, right? I¿m sure you can all handle dangerous moments in your life on your own and you don¿t have to ask the police for help if you or someone you know is attacked, robbed, raped or in any other kind of danger. I¿m sorry; I¿d rather have respect for the police, fire fighters and soldiers that risk their lives everyday trying to protect this country and its people. Ok, now you can flame me for writing this.

  Well, once again.....people miss the major point regarding a gun-incident regarding this video. The gun was not at fault. He said he was holding a "Glock" .40, which is one of Glock's "Safe-Action" handguns. You MUST pull the trigger to fire the weapon. You cannot drop, or mishandle the weapon and cause it to discharge.......you have to fully depress the trigger in an effort to fire the weapon for it to discharge. WHICH MEANS......he severely broke weapons safety protocol by depressing the trigger....which you ONLY DO....when firing the weapon in an INTENTIONAL MANNER. I myself am NOT a police person, but I served in the armed forces for 20 years+.....and we were taught the very basics.....much less than a PUBLIC POLICEMAN should be taught in initial training....which is to say: NEVER EVER PUT YOUR FINGER INTO THE TRIGGER AREA UNLESS YOU ARE ENGAGING A VALID TARGET. Accidents with guns happen ONLY when you add stupid or deranged people + Weapons....weapons can sit there with no harm forever.....until you add....IDIOTS.
