    This was from the First Battle of Fallujah, the city was ordered to be evacuated of all non combatants on a certain timeline. Leaving the unfortunate and the insurgents in the city. After the 'get out or die' order was given i doubt a large group of unarmed civilians would be marhcing in the street.

    bbcake: look at the history of the world. a lot current residents of ANY nation (country), in america, europe, africa, etc are not indiginous to that area. war happens. conquers happen. that's they way it goes. america is damned if they do, damned if they don't.

    if we go into another country to try to right the wrongs, we are labled as "world police" and criticized. if we DON'T go in and protect jews (WWII) or genecide the we are "not preventing what we have the power to prevent" and criticized for THAT--by the same idiots who criticize us as the "world police". either we do what we do or we don't. a person may not always agree, but look at the big picture. personally, we have enough issue here. iron curtain the US. if a nation is sovereign, what is it our business what they are doing to their citizens. we have the resources to support ourselves. we import from other nationsto help their economies and develop allies. but we don't need allies if we just leave everyone alone--no matter what they to their own people.

    What does Elkatmi mean? He clearly does not mean Bush has already killed 6 million people as Hitler did. He is referring to the cruelty. Even Hitler refused to use poison gas. Hitler and Stalin only used a handful of tortures. Bush has concocted over 70. Bush is a torture and atrocity gourmet. Further, Bush's systematic extinction of the Iraqi people apparently has no motive. It is violence for the sake of violence.
