How come we can't download a .wmv or .mp4 version of this video like the other two Trek-A-Thon videos?

IV, definitely my fave, besides First Contact... Even though they are back in the eighties, it still remains timeless, unlike other films dealing with time. Maybe it's because they are from far in the future, returning to a past time. Anyway, I hope to God that the new Trek doesn't leave more to be desired. Something tells me, that where Star Trek: The Motion Picture, was boring as hell, the new trek will be so packed with action, it'll have no story, no philosophical lessons..My one hope is that Majel Roddenberry's input made an impact before she died.

IV is really good and underrated... but I disagree with you saying to skip Insurrection. I read a review for it that said something like "It's probably the best odd-numbered movie, but it's DEFINITELY an odd-numbered movie," which sums up how I feel. It isn't as good as the masterpieces 2, 4, 6, and 8... but it's definitely better than the other odd numbered movies and is worth watching.

I also think that Insurrection wasn't that bad, was fun to watch and had its charme.
But, common, Nemesis good? IMO it's the worst of all. Not only that, I also really hate it.
It always remindes me of those crappy Deanna-TNG-episodes, I just hated her whining.
Nevertheless, great vids, James, I'm looking forward to your Star Trek XI review

I agreed with everything in the Trek-a-Thon except one: Nemesis. I can't believe you said it was one of the better ones! I my opinion, it was at the absolute bottom! It was even worse than that episode of TNG where Dr. Crusher returns to her home planet and finds a candle with a dude in it.

The focus wasn't on the italian food when spock disagreed with kirt. He was disagreeing with any further engagement with the woman. Still a funny observation.

James said he liked Nemesis, not that it was one of the better ones. I. too, remember enjoying it, and just because you didn't like it, doesn't should be so incredulous that James or anyone else DOES like it.

Quote: "Nemesis is another good one" - if you want to go the semantics route, be sure to watch it before. Especially when it overshadows your otherwise valid argument, as James' evaluation of the titles is a matter of taste and you cannot go wrong with liking something. The rest of the world might see you as a complete idiot but you wouldn't be wrong.
