I actually bought the Trilogy on DVD last week. What a total coincidence...or is it? I never noticed the Twin Pine and Lone Pine cross-over until now. Thanks for sharing that with us Nerd!

This is one of those quintessential movie-going experiences from my childhood. And James is right, every time I watch this movie there's a little something more to see. I vividly remember going with my dad and sister to see this in 1985 and can honestly say it was the first fully engaging, absolute fun time I had been to a movie. Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Return Of The Jedi come close, but this was the first time I remember having such a visceral, positive feeling about a movie that was shared by my whole family. Great memories! But James, you forgot to mention the outstanding Alan Silvestri score! Truly one of my top ten favorite film scores! A+ review, sir!

Absolutely amazing. I, like most other commenters so far, have been waiting for this as well. Back to the future is BY FAR my favorite movie, trilogy, and storyline of all time. Everytime I watch it, it makes me think. It is one of my favorite "time travel" scenarios (namely the alternative timelines) and I can watch all three movies over and over again. I noticed the "Lone Pine Mall" subtle joke on my own and have since showed everyone I know.
My favorite thing about the video by James though, was that it was posted yesterday. I celebrated November 5th in my own way also. Cheers!

The Mall is called the Fox Hills Mall. I have lived in Los Angeles all my life and have been to all of those places many times for errands as a kid and have never realized they where in the movie, thanks man. A Great review also you described the whole plot perfectly (as confusing as it is) thanks again.

lol Its not the Fox Hills Mall idiot. The Puente Hills mall is correct. I was raised in that area when I was little, and actually live half hour away from there now. I actually wished I would have been in the area when James was there taking those pics lol

James you rule dude! It is so awesome that you have gotten so popular that you are now featured on Spike! As a huge fan of you since back in your early YouTube days, you have come a long way... Congrats dude!
As far as the review goes, I love Back to the Future. One of my favorite movies of all time. I love the whole trilogy although I don't like 3 as much as the other 2.
Anyways, I thought that It was cool that you went to the actual locations where the shot the movie. Very cool!

Thanks James for showing this and finding the film locations. I never knew where it was and I think i'll make a side trip next time I take the wife to Universal studios. I'm still waiting for them to repair the fire damage so I can visit the clock tower set for the first time. This movie is the reason I ended up buying a DeLorean many years later after seeing it as a kid. It still cracks me up to get the occasionaly "Hey, It's Marty McFly!" or "Back to the Future!" and people pointing from all age groups. Even little kids recognize it and that's another great reminder how timeless this movie is and should always be. And the running gag I have with people who want to see inside the car is the speedometer. I joke I can never time travel because I can't hit 88mph. The factory speedometer only goes to 85mph! lol.
