    I am offended by this video. This video makes good video gaming women look bad. I am disguested by this and those women should be ashamed at making this video. : ( No wonder me and other girls get sexually harassed on xbox live by guys.     I'm also offended by this video and several others I've noticed on this website. Then again, I'm quite appalled by the attitude expressed by Spike in merely having a website that's pretty much dedicated to degrading and further alienating the female gamer. Through a process of pandering to those guys who only see women as second

    rate gamers, although benefitting from having large bouncing breasts that are fun to stare at. As you rightly say - a great deal of the harassment we receive can be a direct result of this form of 'show a video of a girl in a bikini and we'll sell lots of advertising space' cheap shot. Its nothing short of exploitation - the 'how do we attract lots and lots of people to the advertising we have on our website - because showing game trailers just isn't cutting it anymore' policy of a corporate giant (in the case Viacom hiding behind MTV hiding behind Spike hiding behind GameTrailers.com) showing its true 'click the adverts you sheep' marketing colours.



    Do they think so little of the female gamer - that they're happy to treat women as bait to promote advertising filled web-pages. This is the sort of campaign gametrailers.com should be ashamed of - as it supposedly promotes an industry that seems, in a healthy way, to be attempting to attract more women gamers and those seeking a career in games development. Some upcoming titles are now challenging the more traditional female game/character stereotypes and attitudes in a positive way. The next gen releases will be continuing to set new standards in innovation and originality, lets hope we see more realistic portrayals of female characters. Perhaps then some of the 'review sites' will stop dumbing down the female gamer as big breasted 'game-babes' and start treating us as game playing equals.

    Long story short:
    1) It's not 3 women, but one woman in 3 different outfits (look closer).
    2)Yes it is tacky, but like most ham-fisted erotica that comes with the territory.

    Its very easy to 'lol' at comments and to point at semantics, in the end you are

    overlooking (perhaps deliberately) the actual underlaying message of some of

    these comments. Its also easy for such companies (spike) to turn a blind eye

    to these sort of manipulating and titillating images/videos in order to boost

    advertising hits and ratings. Its about balance and fairness, there is nothing

    wrong in seeking that is there? There is also nothing wrong in wanting more

    respect for women gamers but this sort of cheap 'ham-fisted erotica' GT girls

    of gaming approach to things isn't going to help. For sure, the woman in the

    video had many choices - ultimately, Spike.com has the choice to decide if it

    thinks the content is appropriate. I personally don't think it is....

    I'm so glad to see a mainstream media site like Spike continue to piss off females in the gaming world everywhere. Apparently they haven't heard that 40% of the gaming demographic happen to be female.
    What's most disturbing about this footage is these models aren't even playing. Next time guys - why don't you feature some footage of legit models that are huge gamers and that could actually play while being filmed? Unless they're abnormally large and awesomely fake breasts got in the way of their arms that is so they couldn't play on anything but easy.
    Thanks for trying to bring females in the gaming industry back 10 years. And for pissing off 40% of your demographic.
