Bananarama along with the Go Go's (Our lips Are Sealed) and the Bangles (Manic Monday) are some of the "Girl" groups who are now gone. Too bad, because they added a carefree and fun dimension that is needed in any millenium.

I agree, I loved the eighties,because Girl groups reigned supreme. I know they're trying to make a comeback, but the sound is just not there. There is no sound like this now, nor will there ever be a decade quite like the eighties,it's in a time capsule.
