It's great to see this video after all the Boston over-reaction. It's a shame that Peter and Sean have been arrested and that this videohelp them in their "Not Guilty" plea. Still, you can't buy this kind of advertising. Great job guys! I wish Seattle had gotten a few litebrites. All we got were stickers.

So If I left a bunch of Light-Brights around I too could be charged? Whats the punishment for tagging or graffitti in Boston? What they did is no more harmful then that. The exception is that you can pull down there CUTE little characters and not have to wash away the ART or paint over it.

That they are in any trouble is ubsurd. The image of the Moonites has been on billboards for a while only to advertise the DVD. It is not even Graffiti those are magnetic bases they don't harm the surfaces they were placed on. Mabey Williams Street should make those and sell them for about $150.-put some proceeds to defend these guys should this Farce continue.

The simple truth is now because of the Bush adminstration crying wolf so meny times to the American public freaks the fuck out when they see anything or something they dont know about or understand. With the american people being pounded in the head with a hammer about the Terror Alerts and Threat Advisorys and the sky is always falling its no wonder the people in Beantown went total apeshit over some oversized lightbrights! Yes we are at war(I should know I've been there done that twice now) but just cause we are at war dosent mean we should lose a thing we call common sense. Bush should not get all the blame we Ourselves must take the credit for letting fear run our lives and the loss of some of our freedoms.

Just a general rule of thumb to the Boston PD, bombs usually have to be thicker than a quarter of an inch; and usually consist of more than just a circuit board. Americans need to chill out and not watch "24" for awhile...
Still it is a good thing no one walked by any of these cops on the day in question wearing an ATHF t-shirt. The cops might have shot them, and then assumed Aqua Teen Hunger Force was a new branch of Al-Qaida or something. Billions of dollars in intelligence and terrorism training for our law enforcement, and they wet themselves over a lite-brite featuring characters from a cartoon.
God help us if someone puts up Spongebob lights somewhere, they'll have to declare martial law.

*Clap* *Clap* Thank you PRAETORIAN1976 so I didn't have to write a lengthy explanation.
I'm not a big fan of the Bush Administration.. in fact I don't like it at all and I completely disagree with the reasons we went to war HOWEVER I am SICK AND TIRED of everyone blaming their problems on Bush. Start taking responsibility for your own damn stupidity before you try and point out everyone elses.

Okay......what are the facts here.
Some of the devices were poorly made and had exposed and electrical tape.
The devices were place in places where a device much less one with wires exposed isn't expected to be.
An IED can look like anything from a cell phone to roadkill. The tell tale signs are usually loose wires.
Not everyone knows this cartoon charachter.
Sooo.....anyone with the smallest amount of Antiterrorism Training could easily...and rightfully assume this device under a bridge where any sign or advertisement wouldn't normally be, could possibly be an IED.
Boston did the right thing. Secure the perimeter and investigate. Better to be sure than sorry or dead. I'd rather apologize for an inconvience than explain to the public why hundreds are dead because I didn't want to overreact.
The add campaign was a good one, and I myself think it's kinda cute, but it really should have been planned and executed better taking into consideration the post 9/11 world we live in.
And ..yes....we should start holding our selfs accountable for our own actions....Good or Bad in order to maintain our integrity and honor. The kids that were arrested should've been more professinal and mature about the whole thing.
Any way....my two cents

.........gunz............ dont be stupid. Terrorists wouldnt attach lights to something they didnt want to brought attention to. it was stupid from the start to charge them. if you read this again, you'd probably be thinking "but they could use reverse psychology". Well, you know what................ No.
and as for professional and mature........ ITS CALLED ADVERTISING!!!!! IF WHAT THEY DID IS IMMATURE AS YOUR STATEMENT IMPLYS, THEY WOULDNT HAVE USED LITE-BRIGHTS WHICH ARE ONLY TEMPERARY AND A MORE EFFECTIVE LOW-COST ADVERTISING TACTIC!!!!!!!!!! Instead, they wouldve done something more permanet, inappropriate, or violent at that note.
Sorry for the outburst attack on you but i'm tired of people who dont see my logical way of thinking(which i am overdue for getting used to).

Lucifar......have you ever seen an IED! Defused one?! Had friends blown up by the most innocent looking contraptions. I have....and actually seen IED's resembling Lite Brites(with smiley faces), gameboys, ps2's, xbox, etc. etc. I have more actual working knowledge about terrorist and thier activities than most people.
If you could take a moment to breath and not lash out in anger...READ what I said! It's quite clear and needs no interpretation. I said that thier reaction to the questions by the media was immature....NOT the advertising gig. If you go back and read it again carefully you will see that I actually complemented the idea.
When asked an honest question on a what some may see as serious matter one should respond in kind with respect and help enlighten those that may not understand in order to see thier point of view. Too comment about ones hair was really immature....you as an adult should know this.
Youre logical thinking and anothers is always different. No need to yell and have an outburst. Remain calm....explain your way of thinking and you never know.....one may agree with you....if not...respect each others opinion as I respect yours and will fight to the death to defend it..even though I don't agree. I'm just baseing my logic on my training and past experiences. Although...as I step back and try to see through you eye's I may see your way of logical thinking...but I sure could use some input.
To be fair....look at it from my eye's as Anti-terroist, weapons Specialist, Executive Protection and Security Specialist, Explosive Ordnance handler and Private contract operator.
I don't expect everyone to see my way of logical thinking....I expect them to form thier own opinions.
Respectfully yours
Gunz
