It's 2014, and a young filmmaker starts making a documentary about the man who tried to adopt him when he was a child. Flashback to the 20th century: Riki, an international gay porn star based in Italy, is rich and living a life most only fantasize about. When his father dies, he reconnects with his older brother who tries to bring him back into the family fold. During an outing one day, they witness an accident that takes the life of a young mother. Riki becomes attached to the son she left behind, but when the boy's grandparents discover what Riki does for a living, they contest the adoption. Heartbroken, Riki takes his own life at the height of his success.
