Danny Boy is a comedy about 24 hours in the life of a British Rockabilly bass-player, Daniel, whose arrogance finally gets it's come'uppance. Daniel moves from London to New York to get away from his over-bearing mother. In New York, his insecurities take the shape of a facade of mean-witted arrogance.

On the day in question, Daniel ignores his mother's warning about an astrological prediction. Daniel then faces one calamity after another including being fired from him job and losing his upright bass. As he sets out to find his bass and get a new job, Daniel becomes a victim of the forces against him. At the end of the day he is forced to reconsider his attitude towards society.
