In episode 1 our heroes, unhappy with their lack of progress in their pursuit of stardom, borrow money from a dubious source (a Cuban gangster) in order to make a film. They agree to do a film heralding their new partner's rise to glory - assuming they are smart enough to make two films for the price of one, (his and theirs). In this new episode they descend further into darkness, by becoming involved with the gangster's girlfriends, unpaid crews, massive debt and a drunken, borderline insane and largely discredited Russian director.
