Sports journalist Erik Kernan Jr. (Josh Hartnett) has an awkward encounter with John Elway due to a few white lies he has told his son in this excerpt from RESURRECTING THE CHAMP. Based on a true story, RESURRECTING THE CHAMP follows a struggling journalist who hopes to get the story of his career after finding a once-great boxing legend (Samuel L. Jackson) who is now living on the street.
