Once again hitting the nail on the head, Linkin Park exposes the adolescent anguish of becoming your own person. This time, it's dealing with the prospect of disappointing your parents. This isn't a simplistic universe where parents are ogres to be battled. They've just grown tough blinders over the past umpteen years and can't see that a path they never considered could still be a good one for a kid. If you live your dream, everyone will survive.
