The true story of a single father in 1950s Ireland fights the law to keep his family together. The Church and the court system take his children away and put them in orphanage. He and his friends band together to wage a landmark case before the Irish Supreme Court to have the law that allowed this travesty to occur stricken from the books. In a strange twist, the little guy actually wins.
