Bellator 74 kicked off Season 7 with the welterweight tournament quarterfinals. Former welterweight champion Lyman Good utilized his superior striking to get the unanimous decision nod over Jim Wallhead. In a battle of two strikers, Marius Zaromskis reigned supreme over Nordine Taleb. Bellator newcomer Michail Tsarev was impressive in his debut, submitting Tim Welch in the second round.
