Hollywood Ending - Temperamental Antics

Posted on: April 26, 2002 | Views: 15 | Comment

Does a temperamental has-been director deserve the opportunity to stage a comeback? Maybe calling him an ow-teur instead of an auteur is accurate.

Woody Allen plays Val Waxman, a Hollywood movie director. He was big once, but now he takes commercial work when he can get it. Val talks his ex-girlfriend to talk her big-shot boyfriend into hiring him on a movie to revive his stagnant career. The boyfriend relents. But as soon as Val get his lucky break, he's struck by psychosomatic blindness! What to do?! They've got to hide it from the studio powers-that-be until the picture's made.
