- ARTISTS,YOU HAVE TWO HOURS

TO TRANSFORM YOUR CANVASINTO A WILD ANIMAL.

AND YOUR TIME STARTS...

NOW.

- IT'S VERY IMPORTANT FOR METO WIN THIS CHALLENGE.

I NEED TO PROVEI'M NOT IN THE BOTTOM

OF THIS COMPETITION.

I'M GONNA HAVEMY CANVAS SIT DOWN

IN, LIKE, A LITTLETORTOISE POSITION

TO ACTUALLY MAKE HERIN THE SHAPE OF THE TORTOISE.

- MY STRATEGY ISNOT TO TRY TO TRANSFORM

MY WHOLE CANVASINTO AN ANIMAL.

I'D RATHER SHOWTHE DETAILS

AND PUT MY ANIMAL'S FACEON HER BELLY

LIKE THE ANIMAL'S ON HER.

- I WANNA BUILD UPEVERY SINGLE SCALE

SO THAT THERE'LL BE DETAILON ALL OF THEM.

I ALSO WANT TO WORK THE FACEAS MUCH AS I CAN.

- JIME IS DOINGA BIG, GOOGLY-EYE CARTOON.

I THINK IT'S HILARIOUSTHAT HE TELLS ME

THAT I CAN ONLY DO REALISMAND THAT I CAN'T DRAW

WHEN ALL HE CAN DRAWIS CARTOONS.

- 15 MINUTES REMAINING,EVERYBODY.

15 MINUTES.

- I AM ABSOLUTELY WORRIEDABOUT TIME.

I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING WELLIN THE JUDGES' EYES.

IT'S CRUCIAL AT THIS POINTTHAT I DO SOMETHING REALLY GOOD,

KNOCK ONE OUT OF THE PARK.

- TEN, NINE, EIGHT,

SEVEN, SIX, FIVE,

FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE.

THAT IS IT.

NO MORE PAINTING.

RICH, WHAT WASYOUR STRATEGY HERE TODAY?

- TRYING TO MAKE SOMEEXCITEMENT OUT OF A TORTOISE.

- IT'S A CRAFTY WAYOF SETTING UP YOUR CANVAS.

- YOU GOT A LOT OF DIFFERENTCOLORS IN THERE,

SHOWING DIFFERENTHIGHLIGHTS IN THE DETAIL.

DEFINITELYGIVES IT DIMENSION.

- KYLE, YOU GOTTHE ASIAN WATER MONITOR.

- THE DETAIL IN THE FACEIS REALLY NICE.

THE DARKNESS OFTHE DEEP-SET EYES,

IT ADDS A LOT OF DEPTH.

- I LOVE THE CONTOUR,

THE LIP THAT YOU CUTALL THE WAY BACK TO HIS JAW.

THAT REALLY CAME OUTKILLER, MAN.

- THANK YOU.- TATU BABY.

- THE LEOPARD HAS A LOTOF DETAIL IN THE FACE,

SO I WANTED TO DOTHE FACE PRETTY BIG

AND THEN JUST BLENDEVERYTHING.

- YOU DID A GREAT JOBON THE DETAIL IN THE EYES.

JUST THE HIGHLIGHTS IN THE EYESREALLY MAKE THIS THING

JUMP OUT FROM ACROSS THE ROOM.

- THE GREEN IN THE LEAVESWITH THE GREEN IN THE EYES,

THOSE TWO TONES, THEY REALLYMAKE IT POP A LITTLE MORE.

IT'S A GREAT JOB.

- JOEY.- I HAD THE TIGER.

- YOUR BIGGEST STRUGGLEIN THIS WAS THE PLACEMENT.

THE POSITIONINGOF THE MOUTH AND THE NOSE

THERE ON A TILT,AND IT MAKES IT A LOT HARDER

TO READFROM ACROSS THE ROOM.

SINCE YOU WENT APPLESTO APPLES WITH BABY'S,

ONCE YOU WERE OFF,IT'S HARD TO LINE IT UP

AND MAKE IT SYMMETRICAL

AND BE ABLETO HIT ALL THOSE DETAILS.

- I MIGHT WIN THIS.THANK YOU.

- E.S.

I HAD A GUENON MONKEYFROM CENTRAL AFRICA.

- YOU DID A NICE JOBIN THE FACE.

YOU DID SOME NICE DETAILIN THE CHEST.

- THE TEXTURE IN THE HAIR,THE COAT,

I THINK IT CAME OUT NICE.

- JIME.

- I CHOSE THE OWLFOR MYSELF.

- WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS ISTHE FEATHER HORNS THAT COME UP

THAT HAVE A LOT OF DARK,RICH TONES AND HIGHLIGHTS.

IT GIVES IT A DETAIL THAT REALLYMAKES THAT PART STAND OUT.

- OVERALL,IT'S A NICE JOB.

- JOSHUA.JIME GAVE YOU THE PORCUPINE.

- THIS THING IS HARD FOR ME.

THERE'S NO AREA WHERE YOUREALLY HAVE FINE DETAILS.

NAILING THE DETAILS IS WHATREALLY KILLED YOU HERE.

- THERE'S NOTHING ABOUT THISTHAT SAYS PORCUPINE.

HE JUST WASTEDA WHOLE BUNCH OF PAINT.

IT JUST LOOKS LIKE [bleep].

- JACKIE, AND THIS ISAN ALBINO BURMESE PYTHON.

- I DON'T REALLYSEE ANY DETAIL ANYWHERE

ON THE BELLY OR THE SCALES.

- IF YOU WOULD'VEMAYBE BEEN ABLE

TO KEEP THE SCALE PATTERNGOING THROUGHOUT,

IT WOULD'VE LOOKED LIKEIT WAS MORE REALISTIC.

- CRAIG.

- I HAD THE VULTURE.

- THE ONE THINGTHAT YOU WERE ABLE TO GET

IS THE FEATHERS AROUNDTHE NECK AND THE CHEST.

THAT DOES SHOWA GOOD EXAMPLE OF DETAIL.

- THE WHITE WITHTHE DIFFERENT TONES

AND THE HEAVY STROKESON THERE,

THAT AREA IS JUSTREALLY STRIKING TO ME.

- THANK YOU.

- JASON.

- I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOU DIDWITH THE FACE.

YOU DID GET SOME NICE SUBTLETEXTURES IN HER CHIN

TO MAKE IT LOOKLIKE THE NOSE.

AS FAR AS TIME, IT FEELS LIKEYOU DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME.

- I SPENT MORE OF MY TIMETRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK FURRY

THAN I DID TRYINGTO COVER MORE SPACE.

I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

NOT A GREAT WAYTO IMPRESS THE JUDGES.

IT SUCKS.
