Charming, well acted, funny, sad, sexual, romantic comedy about a man who loses his life and the woman who finds him.
A present-day romantic drama. Mitch, a successful entrepreneur, owns two businesses with his wife, Liza (also his business partner). Alcohol has always been a third party in their relationship, at first only socially. But as business pressures and problems increase, so does their drinking. Liza's drinking escalates dramatically, causing frequent friction between them, usually over money. Liza asks for a divorce, and Mitch has an emotional breakdown.
To relieve the pressure, Mitch takes a business trip and meets Jennifer, a vivacious and bubbly late 20s brunette and single mom of four-year-old Molly. Molly's father abandoned them before she was born. Mitch asks Jennifer out on a date and a relationship develops. Mitch files for his divorce and finally meets Molly. Filmed on location in L.A. (Acts I and II run about 12-13 minutes; Act III show at 3-4 minutes.)
