Rinko Tatsumi is a quiet reserved woman in her mid-thirties, who is a phone counselor at a mental health center. She and her husband have no children. One humid, uncomfortable day, Rinko receives a strange letter which contains photos of her masturbating. Then she receives a phone call from the man who sent the photos. He starts to make sexually menacing demands of her. Who is the man interfering in her life, and what will become of her marriage?
