Jim Carrey tries to escape the brainwashing he paid for. Jim Carrey's long-time girlfriend (Winslet) has all her memories of him erased. To get back at her, he decides to do the same, but during therapy he realizes he doesn't want to lose the memories and tries to salvage them one by one.
