Missing U.S. troops found dead

Two American soldiers were found dead days after they went missing. A bomb exploded at the traffic checkpoint they manned. Their discovery comes on a day when U.S. lawmakers debated Iraq policy. An un-authenticated website claims al-Qaeda's new leader in Iraq slit the throats of the soldiers, an Iraqi Defense Ministry official says the bodies showed signs of barbaric torture. The soldier's bodies are being shipped to the United States for positive identification.
