Solomon Bernstein has never forgiven himself for accidentally killing his younger brother when he was a kid. Tortured by the guilt that has destroyed his relationship with his father and his girlfriend, Solomon decides to commit suicide. At the moment of truth, his guilt manifests itself into an alien being who opens a doorway to the past and sends Solomon back in time to the day of the tragic event.
