Cou tries to defend Reverie from an attempted kidnapping by ninjas.

Cou, the klutzy but self-confident hero of the comedy-adventure Elemental Gelade (2005), is an apprentice with the Red Lynx air pirates. During what seems to be a routine caper, the Red Lynx crew steals a large box containing a mysterious, doll-like girl. Cou learns that she is Reverie "Ren" Metherlence, a singularly powerful Edel Raid--a being who can link to a human and become a formidable weapon.
