Dick Cavett - Hollywood Greats - Fred Astaire

Posted on: September 13, 2006 | Views: 735 | Comment

Fred Astaire was close to 80 years old when he appeared on Dick Cavett's show and Cavett asked him to dance. Though the performance starts slowly, it ends remarkably. The man still could still boogie.

Orson Welles, Fred Astaire, Mel Brooks, Groucho Marks, Marlon Brando. Through all of these amazing interviews, Dick Cavett remained the awestruck Nebraska kid in the balcony, yet also made these stars open up and share private moments.

The Dick Cavett Show: Hollywood Greats is on DVD now from SHOUT Factory.
