Project Greenlight 2 - How It Started...

Posted on: August 27, 2002 | Views: 92 | Comment

Matt Damon says Project Greenlight grew out of a response to questions from other indie filmmakers after his and Ben Affleck's big break--and of course, the enthusiasm at Miramax.

Miramax, Live Planet and HBO are collaborating on another indie feature film and TV documentary project. This time around, contestants will be allowed to enter as directors, writers or both instead as as writer-directors, exponentially increasing the pool of possible applicants. Submissions will be accepted from September 19, 2002, until October 2, 2002. Visit Project Greenlight's Website for the details.
