When the most popular girl at American Christian High School (Mandy Moore) discovers that the second most popular girl in school (Jena Malone) is pregnant, she gathers the masses against her, sending the unfortunate teen to the island of misfit students. The formerly popular teen learns the difference between being part of a clique and having real friends--and makes some real friends in the process who stick with her through graduation.
