When brothers, Wilbur and Harbour, inherit their father's musty old Glasgow bookshop, Wilbur tries to kill himself -- again. The psychologist he meets in the hospital decides that Wilbur needs a girlfriend and embarks on a mission to get him a woman. Wilbur and Harbour meet a shy, single mother and her little daughter by accident, and the good vibes raging between the four of them bring them all back to the land of the living.
