Neurotic Jessica Stein (Jennifer Westfeldt) apprehensively shows up for her first date with Helen. After a little coaxing (actually, more like a lot), she agrees to stay and have drinks, which leads to dinner and a burgeoning relationship.

From Charles Herman-Wurmfeld, director of the notorious IFILM favorite "From There to Here." Jessica Stein is a Manhattan journalist who hasn't had a date in a year. And with everyone in her life coupling up and breeding, she's really feeling the pinch. She goes on a heavy dating spree that really only serves to entertain the audience until, finally, she's stopped dead in her tracks by a personal ad. She decides that even though the ad is in the "Woman to Woman" section, she'll answer it. A witty, sensitive, electrifying courtship ensues.
