Posted on: September 10, 2002 | Views: | Comment
Newlyweds Heath and Kate have different views on shame in the eyes of society-namely, she doesn't want to carry any.
Set in the Sudan of 1898, Harry Faversham (Ledger), a British officer, resigns his post right before a battle against rebels (the battle of Omdurman), and his fiancee' (Hudson) and three friends give him four white feathers as a symbol of what they perceive to be cowardice. What they don't know is that he's going undercover, and may have the chance to redeem himself in their eyes.
