This clip is from a 1988 short film was directed by Mikhail Aldashin and Peep Pedmanson. It is a modern telling of an old folk tale from the Chukotka tribe of Indians who inhabit the Russian side of Alaska. Images are based on 19th century Chukotka drawings.
