Posing as a Dow spokesman, Yes Man "Jude Finisterra" claimed that Dow was taking responsibility for the disaster and had begun a $12 billion rehabilitation effort. The BBC interview was shown on TV twice before Finisterra was discovered to be a fraud and the BBC issued a retraction. Dow has yet to take responsibility for the disaster.
