Sgt. Jay Pense has served two tours of duty in Iraq with the disbanded 1st Battalion 24th Infantry Regiment (Deuce Four). Deuce Four was an aggressive, highly-decorated unit tasked with controlling hostile forces in the northern provinces of Iraq. Sgt. Pense experienced first-hand the December 21, '04 bombing of a mess tent near Mosul.

In uploading videos to IFILM's WarZone, Pense has shared the experience of going to war with those with little exposure. IFILM is organizing and prominently featuring these stories under the name, Back From Iraq.

Filmed by Staff Sgt. Adam Lingo.
