Nick claims he can reunite Mamie and her son, but only if he can film it and turn it into an AFI-worthy film.
Mamie is the victim of Nick, a film-making blackmailer who claims to know the son she once gave up for adoption. But he won't let her meet her son unless he can film the reunion. Javier, Mamie's massage therapist boyfriend, convinces Nick to film him instead. And this is just the start of things. A host of other neurotic characters populate the film and bring a comic energy to this rompfest.
