Starring Laurent Lucas (The Ordeal, The Pornographer, Pola X) and Lou Castel (Fist in the Pocket, Beware of a Holy Whore), Tiresia is based on the Greek myth of Tiresias and is set in modern day France. The film follows the story of a transsexual prostitute who receives the gift of premonition after being blinded by a man obsessed with her beauty.

Tiresia (Clara Choveaux), a Brazilian transsexual, lives illegally with her brother on the outskirts of Paris until she is kidnapped by Terranova (Laurent Lucas). Bound by ropes and kept prisoner, Tiresia is deprived of her daily hormones and begins transforming back into a man. Disgusted by this, her captor savagely blinds her and leaves her for dead.

Caught in a pitiful state between two sexes, Tiresia (now played by Thiago Teles) is taken in by Anna (Celia Catalifo), a simple country girl. While recuperating, she discovers that she has developed the gift of second sight. The presence of an oracle disturbs the Church, and the local parish priest (also played by Laurent Lucas) has no choice but to confront Tiresia.
