A prequel to the critically acclaimed Comedy Central series of the same name, Strangers With Candy is the story of Jerri Blank, a 46-year-old junkie/ex-con who goes back to her childhood home to find that her father, now in a coma, has re-married and fathered a child, now a teenager. Jerri returns to high school in a bid to start her life over, only to confront the most dangerous gang of all -- the cool kids.
