1955 Le Mans Disaster

Probably the worst accident in motorsport history. In the 1955 24 Hours of LeMans race, a Mercedes race car collided with an Austin-Healy. The entire front part of the Mercedes flew into the crowd in flames. 80 spectators were killed.
