Great Movie Car Chases - The French Connection

Posted on: February 23, 2007 | Views: 15,671 | Comment

The scene was filmed in single takes without closing the streets. Two unscripted crashes occured with the two stunt cars planted as extras and one crash with an actual civillian car. During the later crash, the director's commentary for the movie claims that the movie car was going 90 mph. Take that for realism, from the producer of Bullit.
