This drama contrasts the lives of two brothers: one's a high school track star (Brad Pitt), the other's a quick-tempered rebel (Rick Schroeder) who's rapidly heading towards a life of crime. The athlete tries to rehabilitate his brother by getting him involved in sports. But when the two must compete against each other, it nearly destroys their relationship.
