World War III Update: Excessive Israeli Vengeance?

Israeli tanks pushed into a refugee camp in central Gaza where they met stiff resistance from Palestinian gunmen. At least nine Palestinians were killed in the latest Israeli raids in Gaza and the West Bank. Five Israeli soldiers were wounded. Israeli warplanes, backed by armour and ground forces, are continuing to target the Hamas-led government in Gaza following the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier more than three weeks ago. About 100 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the offensive, many of them innocent civilians. Israel vows to maintain its stranglehold around Gaza until it gets its soldier back.
