Johnny, a young hustler, gets sucked into the world of pool-sharking and discovers that it's not as easy to get away from as it is to get into when he tries to go legit. Soon his "mentor," Joe, has another pupil, who's just as good as Johnny, if not better. When Johnny discovers that his little brother Danny is in debt to Joe, he takes one last dive into the belly of the beast to save him. Can he do it.
