The community gathers together to plan a party for Blair who's coming home for Christmas.

Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis have empty-nest syndrome. Their daughter Blair's spending her first Christmas away from home: What to do? Go to the Caribbean! But when their neighbors hear of their proposed Christmas shirking, the trouble starts. To complicate matters, Blair decides to spend the holidays at home at the last minute.
