A Portuguese woman in Massachusetts loses her husband and resigns herself to a life of selfless drudgery, until a handsome playboy blows into town and sweeps her off her feet. Her teenage daughter's got some dirt on Mr. Perfect, though, and threatens to expose him unless he initiates her into some of his vices.
