When his sled dogs start tearing up his house and his clothes, Ted tricks them into the barn and slam the door on them. All except the lead dog, Demon, that is, who promptly chases Ted across the yard and up a birch tree.
A Miami dentist (Cuba Gooding Jr.) wins a house in Alaska, a dog sled, and the dogs who pull it. It take him a while to learn how to mush, but he finally gets the hang of it and signs up for the Alaskan dogsled race, the Iditarod.
