Howard Hesseman gets excited about directing ''A Night with Shakespeare.''
Every year, rich, powerful white men, who rule countries, multibillion dollar corporations, monolithic communications companies and everything else that shapes the world the rest of us live in day in and day out, gather at Bohemian Grove, just outside of Monte Rio in northern California. We're talking Malcolm Forbes and William F. Buckley, Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger. What do they do there? Well, that's the subject of this satire. Harry Shearer has concocted "Zambesi Glen" as the place these men decide to hang out for a week. There, they drink heavily; curse themselves, each other and the world; cross-dress; mastermind the overthrow of countries they don't like, etc. It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys!
