Fred Hassen is demonstrating dog obedience with his dog "Nero", doing some bitework, and then retrieving a plastic bottle that is half filled with water. The purpose of this dog training demonstration, is to show that a dog can have strong bitework, but still also have a soft-mouthed retrieve. Soft Mouthed retrieves are used alot in not only sport dog training, but in police K9 training, and in retriever hunting dog training.
