You play a soldier, attempting to colonize the frozen planet of E.D.N. III when your efforts are severely thwarted by giant insects. These violent, bloodthirsty bugs have something you want: a thermal energy supply locked within their carapace that, when harvested, could make living on an ice planet a tad less frosty. Strapped in your protective mech-armor, you can fight the bugs and collect their thermal guts. Sounds easy, right? Well, don't forget to watch out for the snow pirates.
