David May was a good friend and played at the Mission Inn who was President of May Artist Management, where he managed the careers of many film composers. Previously, he was Vice President of Zomba Screen Music for six years, where he oversaw the personal management of over fifty film composers, music supervisors and music editors, as well as having been an entertainment attorney for music and film since 1986. David also supervised the music for several motion pictures and was active as a professional jazz bassist in the Los Angeles area. A long time poet, he recently saw the publication of a book of his poetry. David will be remembered for his warmth, intelligence, and a never failing positive attitude.
